The police in Niger State have arrested a 27-year-old wife, Fatima Dzuma for allegedly killing her husband, Baba Aliyu, 25, in Katcha Local Government Area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Wasiu Abiodun, disclosed this in Minna on Monday.
Investigation revealed that the couple had an altercation on the fateful day.
Abiodun said that the wife used a pestle to strike her husband on the head during the altercation, resulting in his death.
He said that the suspect would be charged to court after the conclusion of investigation.
