Veteran Nollywood actor, Amaechi Muonagor, is dead

Veteran Nollywood actor, Amaechi Muonagor, popularly known for his witty and hilarious movie roles is dead. He was aged 62.

A popular social media influencer and chairman of Delta State Sports Association, Morris Monye, announced the death of Muonagor on Sunday through his official X(formerly Twitter) handle.

According to him, he was deeply heartbroken by the actor’s death.

The Nollywood actor was said to have succumbed to kidney failure.

Muonagor’s death came as a shock to many, especially after a recent viral video surfaced online, showing a relative appealing for financial assistance to support the actor’s kidney transplant.

Despite efforts to raise funds for his medical treatment, Muonagor’s health continued to deteriorate, ultimately leading to his untimely death.
