UNIMAID lecturer died in garage accident

Prof. Ruth Wazis, former Head of the Department of Business Management, University of Maiduguri, has reportedly died as a result of an accident in her home.

The tragic incident occurred on Sunday.

It was gathered that the professor while parking her car in her garage, a sudden mechanical malfunction caused the vehicle to accelerate unexpectedly, knocking her on the ground and stepping on her chest.

She later died due the injuries sustained before being taken to the hospital.
