Truck crushes two to death in Ondo

A truck laden with sand on Saturday crushed two persons to death in Ore, Odigbo Local Government area of Ondo State.

According to The Hope, the yet-to-be identified victims met their death at the Idi mango area along Ore-Okitipupa road.

Eyewitness said that the cause of accident may be attributed to the carelessness of the deceased, as the victims who were on a motorcycle, slipped and rammed into the truck inward Ore from Okitipupa.

It was learnt that the driver of the truck fled the scene after the incident, while the truck has been taken to the Ore Divisional Police headquarters.
