The All Progressives Congress National Leader of Persons With Disability, Tolu Bankole, on Saturday, said the administration of President Bola Tinubu remains committed to creating an enabling environment where every Nigerian, regardless of tribe, religion or status, will thrive.
Bankole disclosed this in his Ramadan message to the Islamic faithful made available to journalists in Abuja.
The member of the APC National Working Committee further urged Muslim Ummah to take advantage of the opportunity the fasting period offers to preach love and reach out to the less privileged in society.
He said, “The APC-led government remains committed to ensuring an inclusive society where everyone, regardless of their background or abilities, can thrive. As a disability rights advocate, I reaffirm my dedication to advancing policies that empower Persons With Disabilities and all Nigerians.
“This holy month presents an opportunity for us to purify our hearts, strengthen our faith, and renew our commitment to righteousness, justice, and service to humanity. It is a period to reflect on the virtues of patience, love, and kindness while reaching out to the less privileged in society.
“As we observe this spiritual obligation, I urge all Muslims to take inspiration from the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who emphasized selflessness, humility, and compassion. Let us use this time to seek Allah’s guidance, pray for peace, unity, and progress of our dear nation, and promote harmony among people of different faiths.”
