President Bola Tinubu extends his condolences to the family of the Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who died in London on Friday.
He was aged 52.
The deceased was a renowned businessman and politician. He was the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District at the National Assembly.
Tinubu in a statement by his Spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale on Saturday, commiserated with the friends and colleagues of the late Senator, the National Assembly, and the government and people of Anambra State over this sad loss.
The President prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed lawmaker, as well as for strength and comfort to his family.
He was elected on the platform of the YPP.
Some months ago, he joined the ruling All Progressives Congress.
In September 2022, Ifeanyi Ubah survived an assassination attempt, while on his way to Nnewi. At least five people, including two policemen, were killed when the assassins attacked his convoy.
