South-West Governors’ Forum appoints Sanwo-Olu chairman

The South-West Governors’ Forum has elected Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State as its chairman.

Sanwo-Olu was elected during the forum’s meeting in Lagos on Monday.

He will now lead the forum, representing the collective interests of the South-West states.

All the six governors in the South-West unanimously elected Sanwo-Olu as chairman.

Governors from South West states convened at the Lagos House in Ikeja, Lagos State, for their zonal meeting on Monday.

The meeting was attended by Governors Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Ademola Adeleke (Osun), and Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti).
