A group of school children on Friday visited the Mausoleum of a former Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN.
Thefrontrank reports that the family of the late former governor had in December 2024, unveiled his mausoleum in his hometown, Owo.
The students were received by Chief Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, the widow of the late governor.
Sharing the photo and video of the visit on her X handle, Betty captured the moment of remembrance at the Aketi’s Mausoleum in Owo.
Betty wrote: “First student excursion to #AketiMausoleum today, January 24, 2025. #AketiEterna.”
In the photo, the children approached the mausoleum with reverence, each carrying a flower as symbol of respect and gratitude for the legacy left behind by Governor Akeredolu.
Betty’s post, however, drew reactions from netizens, many expressing heartfelt wishes for the late governor to rest in peace.

The video and photo speak volumes, illustrating children filled with innocence and curiosity as they whispered among themselves about the governor’s initiatives.
