Youths protesting the reported death of a boy have set ablaze the Police Divisional Headquarters in Ifon, in Ose Local Government Area in Ondo State.
The boy was said to have died in police custody due to alleged torture.
According to The Nation, sources said the boy’s friend is in coma at a hospital.
The protesters carried out the act after learning of the victim’s death.
During the unrest, the protesters also set fire to another building in the area.
The Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Wilfred Afolabi, was said to have visited the town to restore order, and prevent escalation of the crisis.
