
The Ondo State Head of Service(HOS), Bayo Philip, has felicitated Muslim workers in the state as the they join others world-wide to celebrate this year’s Eid al-Fitr.
While congratulating them on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Head of Service urged Muslim workers to always reflect on the love and dedication which characterised the Ramadan period and ensure they sustain these as they continue to discharge their duties.
The advice is contained in a statement issued on Sunday in Akure by Sina Adeyeye, Press Officer, office of the Head of Service.
Philip reiterated the resolve of the Aiyedatiwa-led administration to continue to prioritise the welfare of the workforce, saying it is only expected of them to reciprocate this with rededication to quality service delivery geared towards achiving the government’s “Our Ease” agenda.
He urged the Muslim workers to celebrate Eid al-Fitr in love and service to humanity which is the essence of the period.
“As you join other Muslim faithful across the globe to celebrate this year Eid al-Fitr, I congratulate you on yet another successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
“The Ramadan period was characterised by love, sharing and service to Allah and humanity. It is our fervent hope that we all sustain the lessons of the period beyond the holy month as we continue to discharge our duties to our dear sunshine State and the nation, Nigeria as a whole.
“As you all know, the welfare of workers in the state is adequately captured in the new policy trust of the Aiyedatiwa’s administration encapsulated in “Our Ease” agenda, you are urged to reciprocate the good gesture of the government by rededicating yourselves to service so as the help the people enjoy full dividends of good governance,” Philip said.
