Ondo Gov Primary: PDP sets up 8-member screening committee
The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has set up a special eight-member committee for the screening of aspirants ahead of its April governorship primary in Ondo State.
According to the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Debo Ologunagba, the screening exercise is scheduled to take place at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja, on Wednesday, March 27.
Ologunagba advised governorship aspirants and party members to prepare accordingly and take note of the date.
According to him, a former Governor of Ebonyi State, Senator Sam Egwu, will serve as the chairman of the screening committee while the PDP Zonal Secretary for the South West, Chief Rahman Owokoniran, is the secretary.
Other members of the Committee are Mrs Olivia Dazyman, Senator Isa Shuaibu Lau, Chief Emmanuel Ogidi, Mr Tanko Beji, Ambassador Gladys Ashemuke and Ms Caroline Akinsete, who is the committee’s Administrative Secretary.
