Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has approved the retirement of the State Head of Service, Mr Kayode Ogundele.
Ogundele was appointed as head of service on August 2, 2022 by the former Governor of the state, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
A terse statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan, on Tuesday in Akure said the retirement takes immediate effect.
The statement named Mr Bayo Philip as the Acting Head of Service, which his appointment takes “immediate effect.”
The statement said the Governor appreciated Ogundele for his service to the State, and wish him well in his future endeavours.
