Chief Paul Akintelure, a leading governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, is dead.
Akintelure, a medical doctor from Igbotako, in Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state, died in the early hours of Tuesday.
Family source told Thefrontrank that Akintelure died in Lagos after a brief illness.
He was the running mate to the late former Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu during the 2012 governorship election on the platform of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).
