Ahead of the November 16 gubernatorial election, the Ondo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has named a former Commissioner for Information, Dr Eddy Olafeso, as the Chairman of its Campaign Council.
The appointment was announced on Monday in a statement issued by Sam Ogunmusi, the Spokesperson for the PDP candidate, Agboola Ajayi.
Thefrontrank reports that Olafeso was a former PDP National Vice-Chairman, South West, and former State Secretary of PDP in Ondo State.
Other appointments announced include Clement Faboyede, Director-General (DG)Campaign Council , Barr. John Ola Mafo, Director-General (Special Duties) and Mr Deji Aseniserare, Secretary of the Campaign Council .
According to the statement, all appointments take immediate effect.
It said other heads and members of the Campaign Council would be announced in due course.
