Ondo 2024: Exposed Police Report on Certificate Forgery, Kayode Egbetokun Can’t Compromise — By Sola Olatunji

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, is a complete gentleman. He is a man of honour and impeccable character.

It’s in the air that certain elements who have certificate issues amongst the aspirants contesting the April primary on the platform of APC in Ondo State have practically relocated to Abuja with the intention to pile pressure on the IG so that he can destroy certain report of certificate issues especially this particular one that was investigated by the top echelon of the police force and has been trending in the media space.

This particular report is everywhere. The presidency and the NWC members of APC have received tons of petitions about this certificate imbroglio. It’s advisable for the affected persons or person to approach the appropriate court to clear this doubt rather than thinking that dollars will buy this man with impeccable character, Kayode Egbetokun.

We are also saying that those who wish to take refuge permanently in Abuja amongst the aspirants can also go ahead. What will determine who wears the crown of APC in the forthcoming primary is not about how deep your pocket is. It’s also not going to be how Maverick or divisive you are in politics. It’s going to be determined by loyalty, integrity, charisma, and track records.

We are saying that people can dry up the vault of the state in the name of choreographed endorsement. All these shenanigans, Ganduje Endorsement, refuge in Egbetokun office to trash the report of the police hierarchy, will end up in shame.

We are also saying that APC members will not be idiotic to allow a replay of what happened in Bayelsa State after a clear victory at the poll to happen to them in Ondo State in 2024 as PDP is watching the unfolding certificate drama with Eagle eyes.
