Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has presented staff of office and certificate of appointment to Oba Akeem Abimbola Owoade as the new Alaafin of Oyo.
Thefrontrank reports that Oba Owoade is the 46th Alaafin.
The ceremony was held in the early hours of Monday, at the governor’s office, Agodi, Ibadan, the state capital.
The event was attended by some political office holders.
