Kebbi NUJ chairman, Galadima-Zuru is dead

The chairman of Kebbi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ), Comrade Hamza Galadima-Zuru, is dead.

This is contained in a statement issued by Secretary, Zone A, Abduralzak Bello Kaura on Thursday.

According to the statement, Galadima-Zuru died at the Federal Medical Centre(FMC) Birnin Kebbi after a brief illness.

Galadima-Zuru contributed greatly to the growth and development of journalism in Kebbi State.

“In this time of mourning, our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire journalism community.

“We mourn the loss of a great leader and colleague,” the statement read.
