JUST IN: Onyeka Onwenu slumps, dies in Lagos

Veteran Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress, Onyeka Onwenu is reportedly dead.

She was aged 72.

Onyeka Onwenu reportedly slumped after performing at the birthday party of Mrs Stella Okoli, Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals.

It was gathered that she was rushed to Reddington Hospital in Lagos but passed on.

Her family is yet to announce her death.
