Some staff of local government in Ondo State have been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) over alleged fraudulent practices.
Thefrontrank learnt that the those arrested were the Treasurer and Head of Local Government Administration in one of the local governments.
They were reportedly picked up by the EFCC following their involvement in an alleged “fraudulent deal” in 2017.
Competent source told Thefrontrank that the affected officers were still in the anti-graft agency’s custody for questioning as at the time of filing this report.
