The Governor Umar Namadi-led administration in Jigawa State has approved over N1.4 billion to be used for the fencing of graveyards across the state.
The approved funds will also be used for the construction and renovation of mosques across the state.
The Commissioner for Information, Youths, Sports and Culture, Mr Sagir Musa, while making the disclosure on Friday, said the money was approved by the State Executive Council.
Musa explained that part of the money would be used to construct palaces of District Heads in the state.
