A 53-year-old woman, Iyabo Akinnawo, has reportedly died on eve of her son’s wedding at the weekend in Ondo town, headquarters of the Ondo West Local Government area of the state.
According to a family source, the causes of the woman’s death who was a businesswoman, are still unclear.
The source disclosed that the deceased who had visited a salon to prepare her hair for the wedding, reportedly complained of headache after returning home, and went to have a nap.
She was said to have collapsed and died shortly after waking up.
Efforts to revive her proved abortive as she was pronounced dead in the hospital.
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Yaba Divisional Police Station, Mr Victor Olowolagba, said there was no formal report lodged at the station on the incident.
