Germany’s Yemisi Ogunleye wins Olympic Gold in Women’s Shot Put

Germany’s Yemisi Ogunleye won the gold medal in the women’s shot put at the Paris Olympics on Friday throwing 20.00m with her final attempt.

Ogunleye’s throw took her past New Zealand’s Maddison-Lee Wesche, who threw 19.86, while Song Jiayuan took bronze with a best throw of 19.32.
