A former Secretary to the Ondo State Government, Tayo Oluwatuyi, was on Saturday buried at his residence in Akure.
Thefrontrank reports that Oluwatuyi died on January 4, 2025 while receiving medical care after an accident.
His burial followed an outing and thanksgiving service at Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Isegun, Akure.
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa described him as a dedicated public servant who served with commitment and positively impacted many lives.
Aiyedatiwa acknowledged Oluwatuyi’s contributions to the state’s development and grassroots politics.
Oluwatuyi was a local government chairman, Commissioner for Natural Resources, and twice as Secretary to the State Government.
The Church President, Pastor Henry Ojo, reminded attendees about the importance of spiritual preparedness for life after death.
