Former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson dies at 76
Sven-Goran Eriksson, a former England manager, is dead.
He was aged 76.
Eriksson’s family confirmed his death on Monday in a terse statement.
“Sven-Goran Eriksson has passed away.
“After a long illness, SGE died during the morning at home surrounded by family,” the statement read.
He had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
During his career, Eriksson managed top European clubs like Benfica, Roma, Fiorentina, Sampdoria and Lazio.
