Fire razes shops at Karu Market in Abuja

The Karu Market, in the suburb of the Federal Capital Territory(FCT), Abuja, was on Thursday razed by fire.

Abiola Adebayo, the Acting Director of FCT Fire Service confirmed the incident.

According to him, firefighters have been deployed to the scene.

It was gathered the fire incident which started at around 8.00pm destroyed several properties in the market.

The cause of the fire and other details about the incident could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.
