The chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Mr Paul Omotosho, is dead.
Omotosho died on Tuesday night after a brief illness. The exact nature of the illness has not been disclosed.
Thefrontrank reports that Omotosho was abducted in July 2023 and released four days after.
A social media influencer Bolalne Cole wrote on X(formerly Twitter): ”Ekiti APC chairman Mr. Paul Omotosho is dead. He died last night after a brief illness.
”Undisclosed sources said his death might be connected to the traumatic experience he had in the hands of his abductors in 2023 July.”
