Edo Election: INEC to begin collation of results at 10 am

The Independent National Electoral Commission says it will begin the collation of the results of the Edo State governorship election at 10:00 am on Sunday.

This was announced in a statement by the Resident Electoral Commissioner for Edo State, Dr Anugbum Omuoha.

He said: “This is to inform the general public, stakeholders, and observers that the collation of results for the ongoing Edo State governorship election will resume today, Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 10 am.

“We appreciate the patience and cooperation of the parties as we strive to ensure a credible and accurate outcome of this important election”.

The REC also reiterated the commitment of INEC to delivering a free and fair election in the state.
