The Senior Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on Community Engagement, Oluwafemi Fadairo, has taken grassroots sports development to schools towards breeding young talents in the state.
He noted that boosting sports at the grassroots level through school sports, was a thing of joy for him.
Fadairo, popularly known as ‘Fada’ stated this during a sponsored primary school inter-house sports event in Akure, the state capital.
The inter-house sports competition brought together pupils from St. Patrick, St Joseph and St Monica’s RCM school.
Fadairo, who is the patron and sponsor of the Green House, encouraged the young athletes to showcase their talents and learn the greatness of teamwork and togetherness.
The governor’s aide noted that his presence at the event highlighted his dedication to promoting education, sports and community engagement at the grassroots level.
“Investing in the development of young minds and bodies is never a waste, this is part of our efforts in helping shape the future of Ondo State’s next generation of talents and leaders,” Fadairo said.
The Green House emerged victorious, accumulating an impressive 314 points, while the Blue House trailed closely with 285 points, with the Pink House securing third position with 275 points.
