Mr Femi Fadairo, the Senior Special Assistant on Community Engagement to Ondo State Governor, has donated a set of high-quality jersey to the State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN).
The jerseys, which are outfields wear, were adorned with the SWAN logo, which is horizontally shaped, and Green in colour, indicating the stream of platforms that make up the association.
The Ondo SWAN jersey will be worn by members during official matches.
The donor commended the leadership of the SWAN in the state for their giant strides in bringing unity to the association.
According to him, this is my own little way of supporting Ondo SWAN and making them more presentable during sporting events.
“I am thrilled to support Ondo State SWAN in this way. As a sports-focused administration led by the Ondo state Governor, Dr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, we believe in empowering those who promote and report on sports in our communities.
“We hope these jerseys will inspire the association to continue their great work.”
Ondo State SWAN Chairman, Segun Giwa, expressed gratitude for the donation.
Giwa said: “We are grateful to you sir, Mr Femi Fadairo, for this kind gesture. These jerseys will not only unite our members but also ensure our visibility during events.
“We look forward to a continued partnership with you and the government of Ondo state led by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa. The donation will encourage other well meaning individuals to support the association in the state.”
The jerseys will serve as a symbol of the brand’s support for sports writers and journalists who work tirelessly to promote sports in Ondo state and Nigeria
