Aiyedatiwa to swear in new commissioners Friday

The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, will on Friday, April 12, swear in the 12 newly appointed commissioners.

Thefrontrank reports that the governor is also scheduled to appear for screening before the All Progressives Congress Screening Committee for governorship aspirants in Abuja from 11.00am to 11.25am on Friday, April 12, 2024.

Aiyedatiwa had on March 27, forwarded the list of the 12 new commissioners to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.

The new commissioners are; Pastor Segun Ayerin, Mr Olaolu Akindolire, Alhaji Hamidu Takuro, Dr Banji Ajaka, Mr Boye Ologbese and Mr Sunday Akinwalere.

Others are Deaconess Lola Fagbemi, Mr Saka Yusuf Ogunleye, Mr Rasheed Badmus, Mr Olayato Aribo, Mr Adewale Akinlosotu and Barr. Gbenga Olaniyi.

Thefrontrank reports that a terse statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Office, said the swearing-in and oath-taking event will hold at the Cocoa Conference Hall of Governor’s Office by 1.00 pm on Friday.

The statement reads: “NOTICE OF SWEARING-IN CEREMONY
“The swearing-in ceremony of newly appointed Commissioners has been fixed for Friday 12th April, 2024. The venue is Cocoa Conference Hall of Governor’s Office and the time is 1.00 pm. Thank you. ( Signed- PS Cabinet Office, Akure.)”
