Agboola Ajayi condoles Ondo NUJ over member’s death

The Peoples Democratic Party’s Gubernatorial candidate in Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi, has condoled with the Ondo state Council of the Nigeria Union Of Journalists (NUJ) over the demise of a member of the Union, Albert Ojo.

Until his passing, Ojo was the State Correspondent of The Pilot newspaper.

In a condolence message personally signed by the PDP flag bearer and addressed to the Chairman of the state Council of NUJ, he described the news of Ojo’s death as saddened.

“I received with shock some moments ago, news of the passing of a courageous and dedicated member of the Ondo NUJ, under your leadership, Mr Albert Ojo , whom I was told exited the planet earth on Thursday.

“News of Ojo’s sudden death, is no doubt, a pill too bitter to swallow, not only for his colleagues in the pen pushing profession, but also for those of us who had reasons to interact with him in his life time and people of the state at large that he laboured to feed with adequate report about the state,” Ajayi said.

Urging the colleagues to ” please accept my condolences over the unfortunate occurrence” Ajayi also prayed that God gives the colleagues and family of the late journalist, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
