An accident on the Abuja-Keffi highway on Wednesday killed four people and injured several others.
The incident happened when a trailer’s brake system failed, leading lost control by the driver while descending Kugbo hill.
The out-of-control trailer smashed into multiple vehicles before coming to a halt, causing significant damage.
The impact was so severe that a Honda Accord was completely crushed, leaving dismembered bodies and body parts scattered at the scene.
Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officials, along with sympathizers, faced a harrowing task as they worked to retrieve the remains of the victims from the wreckage.
Efforts were still ongoing to extract the bodies from the mangled car.
