Osun NUJ Chairman buries father

Pa. Kazeem Ajadosu, father of the Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ), Osun State Council, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu, was on Sunday buried according to Islamic injunctions in his home town, Obaagun in Ifelodun Local Government Area of the State.

He was aged 70.

In his sermon after the interment, the Chief Imaam of Obaagun, Alhaji Abass Shittu described death as inevitable.

Shittu, while noting that death was the end of every beings on earth, enjoined those still alive to have a self-assessment of their sojourn on earth.

He encouraged the people to always endeavour to do what is right in the face of Allah as contained in the Holy Quran.

The Chief Imaam described the deceased as a devoted Muslim and committed community leader, who contributed his quota to the development of humanity.

The burial programme was attended family members, friends, well wishers and members of NUJ, Osun State Council.

Speaking shortly after the sermon, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu described his late father as “loving and lover of his family”, who dedicated his life for their well being, saying that the vacuum created by his death would be difficult to fill.
