Aiyedatiwa preaches peace, unity, sacrifice as Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Kabir

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has urged Muslim faithful to use the Sallah period to pray for the peace, progress, unity and development of the State and the country.

In his message to mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, Aiyedatiwa prayed for Allah’s blessings upon their lives and usher them into an era of prosperity.

This was contained in a statement by his Spokesperson, Ebenezer Adeniyan, in Akure on Sunday.

The governor prayed that this year’s celebration would bring blessings, peace and prosperity for all Muslim faithful in the State.

Aiyedatiwa reiterated the commitment of his administration to the rapid development of the State and the sustenance of religious harmony, and peaceful coexistence among the people.

While assuring the Muslims on the fulfilment of promises made by his administration on inclusive governance, the governor urged them to continue to give his administration the necessary support.
