There was tension in Masogar community in Delta State at the weekend, when two married men, Papa Jude and Papa Ifeanyi, engaged in a fight over a 65-year-old grandmother.
The conflict reportedly began after Papa Jude accused Papa Ifeanyi of dating his elderly girlfriend.
Jude explained that he had confided in Papa Ifeanyi about the grandmother’s generosity, only to discover that his friend had been receiving financial assistance from her.
Papa Jude alleged that the grandmother, a Canadian returnee, gave Papa Ifeanyi N250,000 for his children’s school fees while failing to fulfill her promise to pay his own children’s fees.
Confronting Papa Ifeanyi at his residence, Papa Jude demanded the return of the money, leading to a physical fight that shocked the community.
The incident has sparked debate over the nature of the grandmother’s relationship with the two men and the propriety of their actions.
