A former member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Towase Kuti, is dead.
Kuti, who represented Akoko South-East on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) from 2015 to 2019, died in the hospital on Thursday.
Thefrontrank learnt that the former was found unconscious on the ground at the opposite of Shoprite along Igbatoro in Akure at about 11.00pm on Wednesday.
The former Assembly member was rushed to the hospital where he passed away on Thursday
A political associate of the former lawmaker who confirmed his death, told Thefrontrank that his remains have been deposited in a mortuary in Akure.
Kuti, a two-term member of Assembly, was reelected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress from 2019 to 2023.
Kuti was elected Deputy Parliamentary Secretary in the Assembly in June 2015.
