Salome Adaidu, the lady reportedly killed by gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi, has been quietly laid to rest.
The singer had been arrested by the police for allegedly killing his lover in Abuja with the severed head allegedly found in a nylon.
The incident took place on Sunday in Agwan Sarki, Orozo, a community located near the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Following an intelligence tip-off, security forces located Ajayi in an uncompleted building, where he was subsequently arrested.
In a viral video, he stated that he had been in a relationship with Adaidu for a year before her death.
Ajayi claimed a heated argument escalated into violence, with Adaidu allegedly attempting to stab him with a knife, which led to the fatal confrontation.
Ajayi, known for his 2020 album God of the Earth, also mentioned that the rest of Adaidu’s body was at his residence.
On Monday evening, Adaidu was laid to rest in a mournful ceremony, captured in a viral video showing the burial process amid the sounds of grieving voices.
