The traditional ruler of Igbodigo Kingdom in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, His Royal Majesty, Oba John Ebunola Aiyeku, JP, Akinyomi I, has joined his ancestors.
He was aged 93.
The monarch died on Wednesday at about 12.57am.
Oba Ayeku reigned for 28 years after ascending the throne of his fathers in 1997.
Details of his burial rites are yet to be announced by the royal family and the traditional council of Igbodigo.
