Ondo Guber: INEC Chairman, Yakubu inspects facilities at LG offices

The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, on Wednesday inspected some INEC Local Government Area(LGA) offices in Ondo State as part of final preparations for the November 16 Governorship election in the state.

Thefrontrank reports that the INEC boss visited Idanre LGA office, Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo LGA, and Ondo East LGA.

During the inspection, Yakubu assessed the readiness of the offices and examined the logistical arrangements for the election.

Yakubu emphasized the importance of a smooth, credible electoral process and reiterated INEC’s commitment to transparency and thoroughness.

The inspection is part of INEC’s efforts to ensure that all aspects of the election, from the distribution of materials to security arrangements, are fully prepared to provide a smooth and fair voting experience for the electorate.
