Aiyedatiwa celebrates Ooni at 50

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has celebrated the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on his 50th birthday.

Aiyedatiwa, in a birthday message on Thursday, commended Oba Ogunwusi for being an inspiration to the youths and preserving the cultural heritage of Yorubaland.

Thefrontrank reports that Oba Ogunwusi was born on October 17, 1974 to the family of Oluropo and Wuraola Ogunwusi of the Giesi Royal House, Agbedegbede Compound in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.

“On behalf of the people and government of Ondo State, I congratulate the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on his 50th birthday.

“Oba Ogunwusi remains a revered king in Yoruba land. His place in the history of Yoruba race is distinct and enviable.

“His love for the youths is indescribable. This is evident in his drive to raise self reliant youthful population by navigating them through agribusiness, real estate and other profitable investments.

“I salute his courage to unify the Yoruba race while preserving our rich cultural heritage.

“It is my prayer that the king will live long on the sacred throne of his forebears.

“Happy birthday, Oonirisa,” the governor noted
