2000 primary school teachers to receive promotion letter in Ondo
The Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (ODSUBEB) says the presentation of Promotion Letter to the newly promoted 2,000 teachers in public primary schools in the state will hold on Monday, July 29.
A statement by the Board’s Director Information and Public Relations, Prince Bolu Ajijo, said the distribution of the promotion letters to the teachers would hold at the Conference Hall at the Board’s Headquarters, Akure, by 11.00am.
The statement quoted the Executive Chairman of the Board, Rt Hon. Victor Olabimtan, as saying that the promotion of teachers was a fulfilment of the state government’s commitment towards boosting the moral of teachers in its workforce.
The statement read in parts: “According to Olabimtan, promoting teachers, the moulders of solid foundation for tomorrow’s leaders as and when due is the least the government can do for this special category of workforce, hence, the Board will always do its best to put smile on their faces.
“Expected at the event to be presided over by the Executive Chairman of the Board, Rt Hon Victor Olabimtan are; Full Time Member, Princess Funmilayo Ademulegun- Brown; Permanent Secretary, Chief ‘Dele Akinnagbe; and all the Education Secretaries from the 18 Local Government Areas.
“Others expected include, Heads of Department at the Board’s Headquarters, NUT State and their Local Government Executives, State Aophshon and their 18 local governments executives.”
